Product Description
On this image, I painted an eye at the centre, but with an exciting, somewhat surreal addition of rainbow coloration of the iris. The background is painted in pastel colours, pink, yellow and blue, which gives the draw movement and emotion of dynamism.
The work focuses the well-defined light and dark line at the centre of a closely modelled eye while the background recedes into fine stippling. This could represent the cross section between awareness on one side and on the other, confusion, disorderliness of emotions and ideas. The rainbow inside the iris may symbolise unity in diversity, acceptance of people’s differences, the range of the human experience.
In general, the given image has a contemplative nature to it as people are left to contemplate their own view point or the different facets of life.
