PsEyeFlow #1 – Prism Vision, ( wood Framed semi-gloss coated paper )
The first of the images that consist of an efficacious and stylized item at the centre of the image is the eye; iris of which is multi coloured and varies in an infinite number of spectrums and styles. The eyes are lined with black that stands out well against the random colours on the backgrounds. Although thick in appearance, these backgrounds seem to be in a state of constant motion; the hybrid imagery of different colours is reminiscent of waves of creativity.
In isolation the human eye is symbolic of perception, as the iris and pupils may come in different colours these eyes symbolise the different welfare perspectives. A black line offsets a brightly coloured cartoon, suggesting that there are themes of openness, imagination, and even emotional insight that are made increasingly beautiful when one learns to see the world in a differently.
Altogether, the composition may cause the audience focus on such notions as their own stereotype and a vast spectrum of events that may shape the viewpoint— subjective and diverse. The work of art can be sensed to be speaking about personal identity, minority and the spectrum of human life.
